Investing in tankiness feels as unrewarding as POE1 (bingo card)

In PoE 1, players felt most rewarded for investing in offense. 99% of builds, even multimirror builds, were susceptible to getting one shot by archnem rares or overtuned uniques in maps. Here we are in PoE 2, and nothing has changed. Only you can also get one shot by bosses in campaign now, even if you overlevel and invest your entire passive tree and all crafting currency into tankiness.

Suggestions and feedback:
-Increase value of %max life titan ascendancy (25% instead of 15%)
-Increase armour's effectiveness against large hits
-Nerf damage of act 3 silverback slam
-Nerf damage of act 2 Zalmarath dagger drag
-Nerf damage and size of Bahlar's tornado in ultimatum
-Nerf modifiers to attack and move speed on rare monsters
-Nerf modifiers to damage on rare monsters
-Nerf the danger of on death effects
-Buff monster health pools in maps to counteract the nerfs, & slow down the gameplay
-ESPECIALLY unique boss health. Make them the star of the show. They are the best part of the game. I hate seeing people delete them in 2 hits and not engage with their mechanics at all. Sad!

In an ideal world, my titan would be heavily invested into tankiness, with the tradeoff of having less damage. I'd be in a t16 map, find myself surrounded by mobs and feel danger, but not be dead. If I react quickly, I can seismic cry to buy some space, drop my shield wall, and then drop a long wind up sunder to clear out one side of the enemies around me. Super satisfying gameplay!

But why would I do that, when I can just mindlessly spam seismic cry, not engaging in real combat at all, and feel more rewarded?

I think the bones of PoE 2 are fantastic. It desperately needs tuning. The direction of the campaign feels nothing like the direction of endgame, which just feels like PoE 1 reskinned, but with less items, less league mechanics, and less crafting currency. I don't mind less of those things. I just want less one shots and more engaging combat.

Its the same old game as before, High dps with good Speed wins and defensive setups fall behind greatly.

PoE2 zoom is in full effect already and we're just in early-access.
Innocence forgives you
