(POE2) A feedback on weapon set points and skill gem slots

I'm only on act 1 cruel so forgive me if I'm wrong with these.

So from my perspective, weapon set points are a great idea for build flexibility. Right now I'm playing sorc and the idea of element switching at a press of a button seems fun. I can imagine for attack classes switching between two types of melee or range weapons, or switching melee to range sounds interesting. But I think it's an idea currently not well implemented.

1. Weapon set points seem to be limited. I just finished the first three acts and have 12 set points, I'm assuming if I finish cruel, I'll have 24 total. This is not a lot at all. The book of specialization isn't farmable, because then we'll have a thousand skill points.
With all the discussion about regret orbs, I think they should re-introduce it and instead of removing skill points, they convert skill points to weapon set points. That way you still have to pay for re-spec but now it opens more diversification of the tree.

2. The limited skill gem slots actively goes against this mechanic. We have 9 slots, but both weapon slots should have 9 each. I know it sounds jank, but if I wanted to play a sword+bow character I should have access to a full set of skills for each.

3. There should be an option that saves keybinds for each weapon set (unless there is and I don't know of it).
