Could we get a buyback, or maybe some sort of confirmation popup when using the salvage bench?
Maybe just when attempting to salvage gear with socketed runes/soul cores? idk. Just happened to me too, rip my heavy armour & high life chest piece, it was beautiful. A confirmation screen would be nice.

I noticed this risk pretty early on. It's why I never speed click through my salvages, and would far rather they had left it like in PoE1, where you put everything in the 'sell' window to get your items out of it. You have to do that for disenchants, now, but just poof your salvaged stuff right out of your inventory with no chance to take something back if you accidentally click it.

For the vendors to disenchant or sell your stuff you have to drag it into the box and click the sell or disenchant button. But not the tool bench?

Confirming every salvage would be bad yes, but it should just work like the vendor screen where you pop em in and then press accept.

While I was upgrading my weapon with an extalted orb, I accidentally salvaged it. I was incredibly depressed because it was a very important item. I farmed for maybe 2 days and boom it disappeared. !!!!!
