The witch - The offerings rework
As of right now the witch has ALOT of problems. I will make more threads to address others and how to make them far far more interesting.
Right now i focus on the offerings. Problem : Every single offering skill is boring and doesnt have ANY interactions with other skills/minions besides % increase in stats. Rework : Pain offering - The usual stat increase with lower base stat but increasing overtime. The pain offering gets extended duration and increase in effect the more damage is dealt around it (your own minions and enemies). Also singular bone spikes erupt from the ground every time one of your own minions dies. Damaging a single enemy (No AoE). This way the it will be more viable during boss fights and it will actually interact with your minions in a far more interesting way. Bone offering - offers the same shield + with every minion that dies near it, the bone offering gathers power, and at X amount of minion deaths gathered it erupts forming a temporary bone golem/construct minion (the golem unit is already in the game, just pick the bone construct from act 2 bone wasteland or the bone giant from the valley of giants in act 2) Again, way more viable for boss battles, interacts with the minions in a more interesting way and adds 1 more minion that we can use YAY!, everyone happy. Soul offering - 2 viable versions : The soul offering cannot be killed, but has reduced duration. It no longer offers the increased spell damage but instead gathers souls of killed enemies and minions, after enough souls are gathered it erupts creating a wraith following you around. Cast the soul offering skill again to detonate the wraith in the location you choosing in a powerful AoE explosion. Should the wraith kill an enemy, you gain a power charge for every slain enemy. OR The soul offering still gives the spell damage bonus (but less) and also sends out small AoE missiles when minions and enemies die around it. If a missile kills an enemy, you have 50% chance to gain a power charge. Last edited by nabak1996#0882 on Dec 14, 2024, 7:15:37 PM Last bumped on Dec 14, 2024, 6:56:14 PM
