Lock on feature

Hello everyone, making this cause i have trouble shooting some bosses/rares when fighting in really big hoards. Was wondering if there could be a lock in feature that targets rares/bosses and also being able to cycle between them when you are fighting multiple rares. Just because some rares do anything things when hit

I hope this gets traction because Merc gameplay would be a lot nicer if I could hard lock something. I saw in another thread someone made a comment about "toggle target mode" at skill bind menu, in case that leads to something.
I don't know if there is a permanent lock-on feature, but you CAN play like a twin stick shooter. Put abilities on the shoulder buttons of the controller and use the right stick to aim while pressing the ability button with a finger, instead of relying on the auto target.
Definitely.

I also made a thread for an option to target the closet enemy, I feel like that should be the default target mode.

My ranger character is constantly shooting at stuff at a distance when I'm surrounded by enemies.
That is already a function of the interface.
Open your bindings screen than add the Toggle Targeting Mode.

This will switch you between lock on mode and free-ish targeting modes.

In Lock On Mode id will lock on to nearby targets and you can flick between them with the right tumbstick.

Add a toggle lock on enemies on ps5 please
Forget lock on, just take aiming out completely. Poe1 doesn't have aim and it works a million times better than this atrocious feature that is obviously just for console and not pc seen as you move your mouse where you want to aim and boom click done. Having to aim that looks vaguely in that direction with no real target is an absolute pain. "There's a monster right in my face, I'll aim at him and hit the monsters in the opposite direction on the edge of the screen"
