Lightning Runes Feel Bad
If we step through the lightning runes to prime them all the way to ready to detonate, they should explode after a short time instead of as soon as we step back onto them. Maybe I'm just playing bad but all they do is end up denying me the entire arena.
Also the chimera boss moves away too much and I think the bosses are overtuned in general. Last bumped on Dec 14, 2024, 11:31:52 AM

" He moves a lot until you break the towers while he's on them. After that it's GGEZ like anything else. Only tedious if you don't know to break the towers. Bosses aren't overtuned. There's a lot of 2-shot builds running around, though, I feel they were aiming for something different than other ARPGs where you can brain-off the game. If their health gets nerfed so they are faster then we'll need to nerf the insane builds people are running to take down bosses in a couple of seconds. They definitely need to adjust something because it seems most folks think they take forever while meta builds are running around downing bosses in a couple of seconds. It's very rough right now. I'd prefer no meta builds and maybe slight reduction in overall boss health as they can take a bit longer if you aren't running the best setup, passives and gear. But it's still EA so we'll have to see what their plans are for late-game. |

Actually what POE2 needs right now is to cull the crazy meta builds while they still have control of the game. We have a lot of Diablo players which flock to the strongest build. If everyone commits to meta the game will be doomed like poe1 where everything had to scale up to even kill the player. Think about it, If meta builds weren’t 1 shot-How would they die? The answer is they wouldn’t.
GGG should note the strongest builds in poe and wait until release to flatline the power creep and bring them up to speed. Other builds need buffs to even feel good. I would give monk a base 20% atk speed increase for example because he feels so ungodly bad at the start. |
