My two biggest disappointments so far
I'll try to keep it short:
1) No crafting bench This was known, but I needed to see its impact. And personally, I strongly hate that it's not there. It becomes virtually impossible to dress your character in an optimal way unless you are extremely lucky with RNG or can/want to purchase the item you need from the Trade page, which brings me to... 2) Trade We're getting to 2025, but PoE2 still uses the same trading system it set for PoE1 almost a decade ago - which is untidy, time-consuming, pricefixing-prone... A total and utter pain. Not to mention, you need to be online the whole time! This game needs a Trade NPC where players simply list their items at their desired price or search what they want and purchase it. Simple, quick and effective (and works while the seller is offline). If you want to keep the stash tabs system because of the microtransactions, fine; we can still list and organise our items for sale in those tabs. But searching and purchasing through a web page needs to be removed by the time we leave Early Access and enter Full Release. bonus, 3) PS5 left behind It's early access, but playing on PC or PS5 is not a level playing field. I play both and I can tell. And on PS5, loot filters are not available, game overlays can't be used, the trade page doesn't seem to even work (still, have you ever tried to browse the web on console? Give us the Trade NPC)... Crafting (or taking chances at orb-applying) and Trading are a big part of this game, but they are a mess in the current state and not really a progress from 10 years ago. It's so disappointing that I begin to question what is even the point of making PoE2, when all this is just PoE1 with enhanced graphics?
