Crossbow Shot support gems

Crossbow Shot apparently shots every type of ammunition. Shouldn't then all my ammunition be affected by the support gems I put into Crossbow Shot? When i put Envenom in, shouldn't all my shots have 60% to poison? It does not seem to work. Just asking before posting a bug report.

that's only for the default attack I think.

you can't even use the default attack if you've ever loaded another type of ammunition. What's the purpose of making it take up a skill slot?
