Rethinking Identification, NPCs, and Buffs [Suggestion]

Scrolls of wisdom are very boring, too abundant to be special, you'll never run out realistically, because there's NPC who simply identifies everything for you for free. This is one of the weakest aspects of the PoE2 economy, both in terms of creativity and gameplay.

Here's some ideas:

- Replace the idea of the "unidentified" item with a "sealed" or "cursed" status, which prevents players from seeing stats and using it.

- Get rid of Scrolls of Wisdom altogether.

- Add various NPCs who can break different kinds of seals or curses. These could be story characters who specialize in different types of magic.

- NPCs would break the seals/curses over time, like Disenchanting in Settlers of Kalguur.

- A magic item could take 15 minutes, Rares could take 2 hours, and Uniques could take 10 hours. Players would have to return to find them in town, allowing them to load up the NPCs and return later to find out what they got.

- Players could earn/buy a trinket that breaks seals from the NPCs in the field, with charges that have to be refilled over time, or in various ways.

- NPCs could also buff items temporarily, in thematic ways, with a cooldown.

In short, I kinda hate the "Scroll of Wisdom" and "NPC who identifies stuff" trope, and I wish that PoE2 would get more creative with the restrictions on items you find and how to unlock their potential.
