Anyway to fully integrate Steam if you bought early access through the launcher?

I meant to get early access for Steam but my dumbass did it through the launcher. I have a couple friends that play on steam and the integration would make it easier to communicate/join games. Is there anyway to link my PoE 2EA from launcher to steam or do I have to rebuy it through steam?
PS I know how to add a non-steam game on steam, it doesn't function the same.
