CI counts as low life and full life
When I spec Killer Instinct node I get both bonuses if CI.

I also noticed that afflictions which only apply while on Low Life apply to me with CI. Also if you toggle numbers display on, it doesn't show your life as 1/1 like expected, but at 1/max Energy shield.
Would like to know if this behavior is a bug or intentional and something to design a build around. |

I confirm this. Seems like low life status check your current life with respect your maximum life before CI is applied. However, full life check is done with your current maximum. Here are two examples in the skill tree,
Final Barrage: 20% increased Cast Speed when on Low Life. 10% reduced Cast Speed when on Full Life. Pain Attunement: 30% less Critical Damage Bonus when on Full Life. 30% More Critical Damage Bonus when on Low Life. Final Barrage increase your Cast Speed under CI. However, Pain Attunement lowers your critical damage bonus. |

Another odd thing is that "Atziri's Disdain" works with CI, if I use it without CI I have 5655 ES and if I spec into CI I still stay at 5655 ES, so it seems its using the life you had before you went CI and I bet the reason the game thinks we are at low life is because it looks at your "old" life pool (1202 for me) and then it thinks youre at 1/1202 hp...

" All conversions and gains as extra are done in one step simultaneously. CI should set BASE life value to 1, gains would not work. As of now, it seems to be done after all conversions and gains and not even base value but current max or whatever... The problem is that it cannot be 1/1202 cause then the full life part of the node would not apply, but it still does. |
