Quality on Staves

What is the effect of quality on staves (the spellcaster one)? It doesn't seem to do anything and there is no mention of it in the tooltips

Bump. Same for wands. As far as I can tell there is no effect. I increased my wand's quality to 2% and I don't see any effect. Is there any?
Very weird to have the currency but no explanation and no apparent effect |

You know that skill that comes with staves and wands that you probably don't use? I think the quality scales that skill. Very exciting...

I wouldn't be surprised if it adds quality to the skill, like a gem. If you hold alt and mouse over the highlighted skill name it should show you if quality affects it and what it does.
