Endgame is unplayable
On some maps barely 30 fps, complete joke, I know it's EA but how they was able to even test this game in such an environment...

Yep that is my experience as well. Low FPS during fights. I know its early access but if something has constantly FPS drops you simply cannot play and enjoy the game. Its such a nice game but I cannot enjoy it which makes it so frustrating.

A stable 60 would be good, but even changing the graphics when the game looks like s**t, you don't have that

I had issues on Xbox Series X - it was related to dynamic resolution scanning with 4K, sometimes my game was going into like 240p or something.
What helped in my case: - I disabled Dynamic Resolution in Graphics settings, - I use resolution scaling at 1080p 50% (just choose whatever looks fine on your TV), - I do not use Dynamic Culling. When I play alone - everything is fine with FPS. If I do something in party with multiple Lightning Rangers/Sorcs (or just anything that generates lots of effects on the screen) - there are quite significant FPS drops on boss fights and there is no cure for that. Also, in Act III I experience plenty of visual/graphical glitches - missing textures, super low-res textures, sometimes I even get a rare issue when some object texture is getting like "attached" to my character and when I move - I kind of "stretch" that texture with me on the go. There are definitely lots of improvements needed for an Xbox version. But my experience is that for an EA game that just came out a week ago - it is playable and I was able to complete all current Acts without any major issues, need to wait for more console client updates. My friend plays on PS5 and he has the opposite problem - if he disables Dynamic Resolution in settings his game stutters a lot and becomes unplayable, so yeah. |
