question about relics for trials

Hey guys new to path of exile

I am in act 2 and I am trying to do the trials that you need a relic to start.

I somehow lost/dropped/deleted the 2 relics you get in the Bone Pit.


I cant find a clear answer, do relics drop from killing all enemies or do i have to stay in the bone pit?


Any help would be great.
