PoE2 - Issues with opening the game after switching directx setting to 11

As the title says, I was experimenting on the graphic setting, accidentally switched to directx 11 in the setting instead of 12, the game restarted and now freezes everytime I open it. Uninstalling does nothing to restart the graphic setting. Any way to fix this?

Also - changed to directx11 - now game won't start - freezes - can't close poe2

Exit PoE completely

File explorer:
Documents > My Games > Path of Exile 2

right click + edit production_Config.ini in a text editor like notepad

CTRL + F to search for " renderer "

Change the line to one of these options:
renderer_type=DirectX11
renderer_type=DirectX12
renderer_type=Vulkan

save the file ensuring it retains the .ini file name and not a .txt file.
