Monk feels horrible

I usually play monk when given the option, so i tried it out in PoE2, first of all the elemental damage caught by surprise, this feels like a extra squishy mage that needs to be in melee?

But ok, at least half of the quarterstaff is more or less monk with some dashes, attack speed and bell.

This feels horrible, we are so squishy and its so frustrating to drop belt and for some reason he focuses on some other mob, i cant AOE and i die, dash is the same thing, i have my mouse exactly on the mob that is glowing and he dashes somewhere.

All of this combination where we depend on our tools heavily to survive, they constantly miss, on bosses we are extra weak due to being melee and relying on power orbs to do damage, which if the boss doesnt have, we only use half of our toolkit, it just feels horrible.

Im rerolling a summon witch and its night and day, complete different games.

I didnt play PoE1 so i dont know about this des/int, but class flavour wise, maybe the int part should focus more on spirit/light abilities with healing and defensives while the dex focuses on offensive, most people that pick a monk will not expect a melee wizard.

Really excited for druid which is another class i usually play, overall the game is great and loving the class flavouring over PoE1 that threw me off
