Help and Information - I need some clarification on mtx share between PC and Xbox - Forum

Hi, I never played POE before. But interested in POE2. So, I'm a little confuse about how share microtransactions work.

Basically, I read about account merging that PC and Xbox can share a microtransactions. But there will be 2 sub-account, 1 for PC and 1 for Xbox. Should I choose just one account to be my main play account and choose this account to play on both PC and Xbox? So, that when I purchase something in shop it will be available on both platform.

But I still unsure about how share microtransactions work. (Because I did not plat POE before)

I have a little complicated situation. I plan to use PC (steam) sub-account as my main in the long run. But in early access phase of POE2. I would like to play on Xbox first. I already link my Steam and Xbox account to a POE account. Then, if I purchase supporter pack on Xbox to get early access. Also, I will get 300 points for my Xbox sub-account right? Or it will be available globally in my account? Assume that points will goes into Xbox sub-account. Can I use those points from Xbox sub-account to purchase items in shop for my PC sub-account? Or points will be separate between platform just the purchased items will be shared?

If you've linked your Path of Exile account to both your Xbox account and your Steam account, you should be able to access Path of Exile 2 through both once you've purchased a supporter pack on both respective platforms. You should then be able to log in to your Path of Exile account through the in-game client.

Since Path of Exile 2 is cross platform, the characters you create and the progression you make on those characters should carry over as long as you're logging into the same Path of Exile account each time between platforms.

This should also be the case for Microtransactions between PC and Xbox, including any purchased points. Please note that you may be able to purchase a microtransaction from Path of Exile 1 that is not yet available to use in Path of Exile 2.
