PS5 and PC Mtx Confusion

Hey folks! Sorry if this has been answered before. I tried searching for it but couldn't find a definitive answer.
Context: My friend purchased the PoE2 EA on PC and also has purchased it on PS5. His GGG account is linked to Sony (confirmed on the account management settings in the website). We are also aware of the post regarding MTX purchased on PS5 not being able to be used on PC and vice-versa. The thing is, when he logs on PS5 or PC, we don't see the sub-account dropdown menu, which leads me to believe that his accounts are 100% synced. We're curious if he purchases a stash tab on PS5 will he be able to fully use it on PC (with it not being a remove only tab)? Another info we can provide is that he only sees 300 coins in the store. Technically he has 300 coins on PC and 300 coins on PS5 (as displayed in the PoE1 site UI) but we're not concerned about that, we just want the MTX to be synced haha He has never played PoE1 on his account in any console before, only on PC. Hi there,
To clarify, I'm afraid that all microtransactions purchased on PlayStation will not be able to be used on other platforms, and vice versa. As you've mentioned players may be able to access their stash tabs between platforms, however they will be marked as "Remove Only". We apologise for this inconvenience. This caught me out too and it wasn't made clear when purchasing them.
Without stating the obvious.. but why is this even an issue. It never was with Diablo iV ?! |
