Elemental Equilibrium + Painters Servant

Hi,
I got some Painter's Servant Gloves and immediately thought it would be great
with the Elemental Equilibrium node. I just feel it doesnt work.
Either the gloves or the Passive or the combination of them, doesnt do anything.
What I assumed would happen is that the enemies basically rotate through the Exposures with each attack since Im doing 1/3 of each element with each attack.
This does not happen. The only side Effect i found is that i am able to freeze regularly now. I feel like I do not do any Fire Damage at all with this combination.

Please let me know if this is inteded or not? Thank you.

You're not going to apply any exposure with those gloves because you are always doing all three elemental damage types with each hit, since Painter's Servant converts your damage into all three types. All three lines of Elemental Equilibrium trigger with each hit, meaning any exposure that would have been applied is removed. At least, that's how I understand it. I thought the node was bugged as well but I realized that I had a stray "adds x damage to attacks" that was triggering the wrong exposure, since any amount of a certain elemental damage will activate equilibrium.
Ive tested this aswell, and it doesnt work... seems like it doesnt registre the different elemental damage as Cold, Lightning, or Fire when you have the gloves equipped. it also doesnt work with any of the Support gems that gives exposure... which it should, as earlier comments said we are doing all 3 elements at the same time. the passive node should work somehow :)

If it's not clear from the description and the previous comment, a three-element hit removes all three exposures. Elemental Equilibrium is vise versa designed around altering elements each hit.

E.g. your first hit deals only fire damage and applies lightning exposure, thanks to which your next purely lightning hit deals improved damage and also removes ligthing exposure + applies cold exposure, thanks to which your next purely cold hit deals improved damage and removes cold exposure + applies fire exposure, thanks to which your next purely fire hit deals improved damage...
