Steam Refund?
When EA went live, I couldn't get my steam account and POE account linked, so I had no access to the game. Tried for about 4 hours, but never could complete the process between the POE website being down and the verification emails not going out.
I got a little impatient and decided to request a refund from Steam and buy the EA support pack directly from the POE2 site instead. Downloaded it, logged in, easy peasy, no issue and I was able to play. Now Steam won't give a refund because I "played the game for 4 hours" and because there were in game items and currency as part of the purchase, even though I was never able to access the game or in game items/currency at all, there was ZERO time played through Steam. Has anyone else had any luck getting a refund from Steam or am I just going to have to eat the purchase? I never logged into the game from Steam, never received the coin or items. Their last response to me before closing my ticket was "The Game Developer has not provided Steam with any specific guidance as to allowing refunds through our service" and with that, they closed my ticket. Any suggestions on next steps? I have a support ticket open with GGG but haven't heard back for a few days. Last bumped on Dec 12, 2024, 12:40:51 PM

Meant to place this in the POE2 area, sorry. You can close/delete this and I'll repost in the proper area.

Hi there,
I'm afraid we're currently expecting delays responding to players emails due to the launch of Path of Exile 2 Early Access. One of our team will get back to you via email as soon as possible. Last edited by Drew_GGG#0000 on Dec 12, 2024, 11:15:34 AM
