POE2 - Mastodon tusk quest item doesn't drop

Please help me I can't continue the story because the quest item that is supposed to drop after killing the Mastodon boss in Act 2 doesn't drop even after killing the boss multiple times. I searched the options menu in case the item just isn't highlighted, but it isn't the case and all the other quest items were highlighted just as they should be. I completed all the other quests already so I don't know what else I could do.

Me and a buddy are having this same issue is there any kind of solution for this? we can not progress because of this.

I have the same problem. Kill Mastodon first didn't help get the tusks. I hope support will find a way to fix it soon. Sadly there is no way to go ahead without the tusks...

Same issue here, even after few clears got no item

This problem still happens even though i have repeated it 3 times

i have the same problem, killed them twice but the tusks didnt drop. cant move on on the story. (edit: different order works, first mammoth then necromancer dropped the quest item)

Same for me and my wife.

The quest told to take the mastodon tusks but never loot by the boss killed twice for our 2 characters.

It was good for another character playing alone a few days before.
