MOBS v ATTACKS v ENVIRONMENT
Sometimes not enough contrast between enemies and the ground, between enemy attacks and the environment. It is easy to miss that you are standing in poison when the poison fog is very dark and there's 90 effects on screen at the same time. Some enemy attacks (Act III) are easy to miss in some environments because they blend in to the environment too much.

SPELL PARTICLE DENSITY
Please give us a slider or increase readability of attacks/things. If you've ever played bullet hell games everything is readable so you can safely avoid incoming damage. Not so much here. Most of my deaths can be attributed to "what just happened?" when it is not immediately clear what hit you or from where.
