Ketzuli Elevator vs Loot

I did the grave mistake of calling Alva instead of portaling to town to empty my inventory to be able to pick up the boss loot.
The automatic use of the elevator made me go through the whole area from the start again to get to the boss loot, just to realize that half of the loot is bugged on the elevator and unreachable.
Please, find a solution for this. No more automatic elevators please.
