PS5 Controller on PC cant highlight/unhighlight items on ground using R2+ down on dpad

So using dualsense ps5 controller on PC with steam controller input disabled. So if you turn off "highlights all items" setting in the options > interface, there is no way to show items on the ground again. It shows on the UI after enabling the setting, to press "R2 + down on dpad" but pressing these buttons or holding it down does not do anything but trigger the skill bound in the R2 button. Now that item drops are increased again act 4 the screen is just loot pinata that you cant see anything in combat. It would also be great if we could bind item highlighting to toggle or hold down toggle to either L3 or R3.

any updated on the matter? have not found solution myself
