Trial of Sekhemas - posion damage

So posion damage or traps of some sort can waste nearly an hour of your night in <1 sec draining well over 1k honor. logging out for the night.

Yeah, I have to say as a melee that ascending using the trials (which is POE1 sanctum reused) is a pain. It was not a popular league or mechanic in the game, locking your ascendancy behind these is (in my opinion) a mistake.

If you remember the sanctum league and the outcry over how you needed specific builds to do well, this will be the same. There will be fast ranged builds that will do it easy I am sure but for the majority it will just be hugely frustrating.

I don't mind spending time and energy to get something and feel rewarded, but the biggest issue with the sanctum, and still is, was the RNG. You could be the best player in the world and if you get a run of bad choices in your trial (no matter what you pick) then all that time is wasted and you have to start again.

If you only had to do it a couple of times you could grit your teeth and bear it. But having to do harder and harder trials will, again my opinion, cause more people to quit than anything else. The super long campaign will have to be changed, nobody is gonna reroll every league in a game with that long of a campaign and if they keep things the way they are the game will have a much smaller player base.

But that is their choice, i think with a few QoL changes the game could be amazing, it is already fantastic but i think too many layers of frustration and you end up with a game where only the minority will enjoy it.

Ranged Deadeye right now, and no. No it is not better. In PoE1 I made specific builds to run sanctum, and we had flamedash etc.

PoE 2? Nah. You have to be running witch or (RIP) trigger spells to trivialize it. Otherwise, even with optimal pathing, 3rd floor is just a pain. I only get 1-2 rooms in before loosing all 2k+ honor.

If they're going to force sanctum, the ascendancy version has to be tuned down a lot. Otherwise, looks like I'm stuck with just 4 points.

is there any way to farm reliably the trial tokens ? I been there first time didnt knew what it was , wasted my run , and never got another try .
