Filter File Location Variable?
Hi there,
I tried installing POE2 in advance by downloading the standalone client, which installed into the Program Files (x86) directory. Of course, Steam didn't like it and I ended up downloading it (again) via Steam, which installed into the standard Steam folder. However, now when I do a filter sync with filterblade, it shows up in my GGG profile, which is promising, but it doesn't make its way to the \Documents\Mygames\Path of Exile 2 folder. I did a search in the Registry and found some general entries pointing to the x86 folder, but they didn't actually specify filters etc. Is there a way to ensure that my current installation is pointing to the \Documents folder and not elsewhere? TIA, cheers. Last bumped on Dec 12, 2024, 12:47:25 AM

Here is an excerpt from the filterblade website FAQ -
Q: My filter doesn't show up inGame when using the Sync-With-PoE feature. A: First: re-starting your game. Next: Does FilterBlade show you a 'successfully uploaded filter' message? If not, you should receive some sort of error message that might already help you. If FilterBlade says that the uploads succeeded, check your PoE-profile page (pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/YOUR_ACCOUNT_NAME/item-filters). If the filter shows up there but no inGame, then it's an issue on GGGs side and you should contact them. Right now, they seem to be having issues with account names that contain special symbols. As my filter IS showing on up on my profile on GGG, but not in the game, then I expect the issue is not related to the use of filterblade website etc, but an issue with My game client and GGG. |
