Early Cruel Mode Bug

After Act 1 is completed you can currently talk to Sin in a players hideout who is up to Cruel mode and it will give you a bugged version of cruel mode act 2 where the only teleport point is the Trial of the Sekhemas. (Note: I have not yet gotten up to cruel mode act 2 and am unaware if this softlocks the game)
In addition to this every time I would return to act 1 it would say I still needed to talk to Sin to travel west until I talked to him in the player's hideout unlocking cruel mode.
