Can't afford to respect out of cold sorc. Char feels very underpowered now. Heavy heavy nerf.

I know a lot of posts about this already, I'm just disappointed that GGG nerfed the build so badly that cold sorc is useless and we have no way to respec to pivot. I feel like my time has been wasted and not really in the mood to start all over again

I'm in the same boat, I ended up taking all of the meta energy nodes, and picked up about 6 more jewel sockets, added 10-15% meta energy to them which seems to help a little. Added winter orb with the gem that removes freeze so I can alternate between frost orb and winter orb and it seems to proc comet quite often, enough to run tier 4 maps at least. Definitely not perfect by any means and way worse than it was but I'm hopeful someone will come up with a better solution

just take out the cast of freeze and manually cast a couple of comets to farm gold, it's bad clear but you should be able to do it and it's still about the same vs bosses.

I was going to spec out of this cast on freeze garbage anyways because it feels horrible to play imo. Always out of mana and it's not thaaaaat good. Kindo of an over reactionary nerf.

eye of winter left click

frost bomb x2 right click

ice wall fortress

hypothermia

then put in that elemental damage aura

its enough to clear maps and at least get your gold and currency up to respec

it should be ok til t10 maps, then will need heavy ES gear investments

As someone playing this build who wasn't using lvl1 skills to stack freezes and compensated with Mana regen on the tree Etc. This build feels terrible now went from comet procs every pack or so to 10 packs to get a comet LOL. I guess its time to go play minions with everyone else

Same here, just woke up, I go into map, and it just feel terrible.

If you don't want to give a free respec, at least say that you'll make builds like this useless 1 day prior so people have actually time to farm gold to make a full respect..
