With Constant Balancing Patches, Respec Costs Need To Be Lowered
I understand its early access and there are going to be large shifts in power as the game is balanced. Although I'm sad about the CoF nerf, I get that its better for the health of the game. But this essentially bricks the character with respec costs this high. I can't just try something different on my sorc. My only option is to reroll a new character, which feels awful.
Similarly, ascendencies need to be changeable for the same reasons. I'd love to try out chronomancer now that my CoF stormweaver is dead (especially since I ascended earlier today...) But I'm not able to do so. I have no issue with locking ascendencies or jacking up respec costs for the actual release of the game. But for early access, when people are just trying out the game and there are going to be substantial and frequent balance patches (again, a good thing!) is it really necessary to impose such harsh punishments on players who want to try something different? It needs to be FREE. If you brick people's builds and they have no gold, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT THEM TO DO?

It's early access. Respeccing should be 100% free. They want us to test stuff, right?
