Suggestion // Question about "Blood Spells" in PoE2

Am I the only one who finds it strange that we have a Blood Mage ascendency now (Which I love, flavor wise) but there are 0 spells having to do with blood magic?
Has GGG commented on having new damage types later? Just strange that the only thing blood about the Blood Mage is picking up red orbs, hurting yourself for power and some life leech, which doesn't really fill any sort of blood or vampire like power fantasy imo. Blood Mage ascendancy is just a mistake.
Added life cost to all spells feels like a drawback with no benefits at all. we need some Vladimir like skills or just get rid of the BM ascendancy |

I totally agree, what we have now is basically a necro specializing in bone. Nothing to do with blood.
