Blasphemy -- Incorrect Weapon Type

Monk with Quarterstaff; cannot activate Blasphemy, with the reason "incorrect weapon type" despite Blasphemy not having a weapon type requirement.


If i equip a wand, it allows me to activate/reserve the blasphemy. Furthermore, having a wand in my weapon swap also allows me to activate/reserve the blasphemy, but is only active/actively reserving my spirit when I weapon swap to the wand.



Either Blasphemy actually has a weapon requirement, or there is a bug; either conclusion should be addressed.

Witch with wand; Blasphemy doesn't seem to work at all and the problem being again "incorrect weapon type". So the problem seems to be even worse than what was stated on the above post.

I tried to check if the problem was related with weapon sets and i can't click on them since it show's as clear red in other words non-interactive.

What bother's me is that im a witch and its part of my kit of spells, i have enough spirit (101) to reserve it and assuming it needed a a wand (regarless if its not showing) i should be able to use it due to having a wand.

Im also a monk but it wont activate even it i change my weapon to a wand. Ive tried every weapon for it.

found the issue, you have to socket an ability into blasphemy and it will change from incorrect weapon type

I can't even get it to Reserve Spirit. It 'Turns on' but doesnt do anything.

Quick Edit: I can get it to reserve Spirit, but only if I use my second weapon slots, not my first. if I use my first weapon slots, it says 'Not enough spirit' Even though I have 60 regardless of the slots.

Just stumbled across this while trying to figure out what was going on and this is indeed the case.

I have 2 weapon sets that should both be capable of using it, but slot 1 is always unavailable/disabled even if I swap the weapons completely between sets.

In my Blasphemy support socket, I put Despair skill. Very nice.
