Stop playing SSF in tradecore gamers...

I feel like everyone who is complaining about being stuck is just refusing to trade, while not playing SSF league. Especially before the loot buffs.

SAVE YOUR EXALTS and use them to buy gear on the market. Most leveling gear with like at least 20 res and a life roll and whatever else is up there right now waiting to be bought for 1ex. Just finding 5ex is enough to make acts absolutely trivial with maybe 30 minutes spend on trading.

It is not hard to trade in this game, just learn how to use the filters, put the item level and stat req to what you are at, put a resistance in you need, a life roll, maybe something else. Look at your character sheet, see what ele res is the lowest and repeat. Even just getting like 40% all res and like 400 life across a few pieces of gear is going to make your life 10x easier, and its really not hard.

Do the same for your weapon. Playing ice spells? Look for something with +2/3 to ice spells, some damage and there you go.

If you don't know how to trade, go to https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2/search/poe2/Standard , do your filters, click on an item you want while in game, and it automatically whispers the person. If they send you an inv, join. You go to the sellers location, so you click the blue icon on their portrait to automatically travel to them, wait for them to initiate a trade, and that's it.

As in playing this multiplayer RPG with a guild, chat and trading system....on your own?

There are different leagues even in EA. We have sc/hc and trade/ssf for both for a total of 4 leagues currently.

I think most new players are totally unaware of the trade site. And vets think the idea of buying gear in acts is alien to them or something.

I always play solo and idea of forcing multiplayer is abhorring to me.
And I have bad memories from playing D3 before auction house was removed.

I don't want to trade, I'd rather have game that has a fair loot system and not one tailored to support trading and auction houses.

Likewise I've never used or understoof trade in ARPGs, at least label it easy/sandbox mode vs. normal/hardmode. You put all this effort into deep crafting, loot drop tables, bosses, gear progression - then by adding trade negate 90% of the mechanics allowing someone underleveled to import an OP item from trade.

I also don't see how it's rewarding when the entire game revolves around loot to just buy an item in, I guess everyone has to be a winner.

Wait until you see what the flood of high-level uncut gems being sold by mappers does to trivialise gem leveling.
