Takes way too long to kill white, magic, and rare enemies. White enemies specifically need a massive health nerf.

Game gives bow users significantly less weapon options than POE1, which already had embarrassingly bad itemization. This leaves the average player needing to look at the market or spend inordinate time farming in order to obtain sufficient gear.

Almost all jewelry is trash. What isn't trash and ends up getting slotted is insufficient.

Player can't get resistances up to a reasonable level through natural drops, and would have to go to market in order to shore them up.

Melee is an absolute joke and horribly embarrassing.

Stop trying to be Dark Souls and make your game insufferable, and arbitrarily take longer, for reasons. People have lives and want to chill and play a game. Not alt tab and search on a website to find gear they can't obtain within their own playthrough.

Unfortunately, POE2 mandates that more than POE1 did. That game was utterly ridiculous in that regard.

I believe GGG thought they could just use Ruthless to bridge people onto this insufferable desert like experience. Stop it, get some help. It's 2024. You're not going to save humanity by making your game arbitrarily harder in areas that don't actually challenge a person. It just frustrates them and makes them think you're a bunch of weird incels for making your game require inordinate amounts of time to clear arbitrarily placed hurdles.
