PoE2 Constant Crashes

Hello,

Seeing very consistent crashes happening, but only when playing on my witch character. I spent several hours yesterday doing assorted troubleshooting and did not get any positive results. I have recorded a video detailing an instance of the crash, as well as my dxdiag info and all of my character pieces to see if there's something I'm missing that could be causing it.

Originally I believed it was only when i was hit, but that's not always the case, though that's most often when it happens. I noted that when playing with a friend, it would crash them as well, straight to desktop. When we load the instance back up, most everything was exactly as it was when the crash happened, except the map exploration which was usually reset completely. Corpses would usually be left on the ground as if I had logged out normally.

I attempted to figure it out myself by individually removing pieces of gear/support gems/abilities from my character until nothing was left but my passive skills and I was still able to get it to happen. All the usual tech troubleshooting business as well... drivers, verify files, reinstall, reboot machine, windows updates, etc. Everything is as it should be.

I confirmed it was just on that one character though, as I was able to go through on my other characters and play for another 4 hours yesterday with no crashes. Simply seems to be a problem with my witch in particular. It started happening mid session for me yesterday, after around a half hour to an hour of play and has remained consistently until just now when I made this recording. Initial thoughts are that the update may have had something to do with it, but not sure about that, as it could just be a problem with my combination of build items that causes this.

i can't even login to game whith my witch in act3 sandswept marsh jungle game crashes imedietly

Update: Still crashing after the recent hotfix.

If by crash you mean the loading just hangs there and you need to hard restart your system, then go in the graphics option and deselect multi-threading. It will allow you to load a new zone. When you are done loading, re-select it for a smoother gameplay.

The problem is that you must be sure to deselect at EVERY loading.

This has nothing to do with my issue. Not only have I tried messing with those settings to test, but the game isn't having any issues loading for me at all. It crashes mid combat straight to desktop. watch the video.

I’ve been having the same problem ONLY on my witch, ONLY since I started act 3 and ONLY when I get hit but hit “hard” enough that it visually staggers my character. It would just immediately boot me to my desktop screen. I thought it was the game but finally after messing with every setting I could think to try I started a couple new characters, played them for several hours and didnt crash a single time. Maybe its something about witch or act 3 but its so frustrating.
