Cruel trial of sekhemas not rewarding ascendancy

I hate these trials so much and I've completed two of them now and the ascendancy points aren't being rewarded. At first I thought it was because I didn't kill balbala first (even though I had a djinn), so I went and killed balbala for the second one, and I still didn't get any points
this is infuriating

Same, done 62,66,68ilvl(3 floor) and don't get 5-6 point ascendancy
