Way too much loot now.

TLDR: Now too much loot. Keep reagents/shards drop rate high, dial back gear drop. Up Quality of rare and boss drops or up frequency of rare gear in vendor.

So loot was a little scarce at launch and reagents even more so, but I think you turned loot from like 2 up to 11. Too far. Personally I'd prefer an abundance of crafting reagents than loot drops. I like being able to craft early in the game and it mean something. In poe 1 you rarely if ever bother crafting because you're going to be replacing it 5 min later anyway. PoE2 is paced slow enough that crafting gear makes sense.

I do think the boss and rare drops need a quality upgrade. A boss shoulddrop an upgrade for at lease one of the classes. I killed the Executioner yesterday and got 2 blues and gold. That or you maybe add more rares to the vendors.

No, ARPG's are about the loot not the crafting especially not on a crafting system that is immature.
Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1
Too much loot is never a bad thing especially when leveling. Its why people love these games, they want to be overpowered.
Rares are definitely NOT vendor food in this game. Getting more of them doesn't make them vendor food.

This isn't poe1. The gear options are much more limited, making rares that much more important.

Pre-patch you would be running blues until cruel if you got unlucky. That is bad.

I'd argue it being too much if they changed the affix probability as well.

In what rulebook is that written? And even if it written somewhere, this game feels much different that PoE1 Diablo(any of them) and last epoch. Feels closer to a FromSoft game. I like when my loot means something rather than just gets vendor-ed. As to crafting poe1 crafting is terrible and pointless until end end game (yellow or red maps) I like that this is useful even in Act1
Also this is EA aka beta, so yes lets test the crafting system as much as possible please.

??? If the gear is vendor fodder now, how is it any better with less? It's not even that much more in the campaign.

Maybe it's a shower in maps, I don't know, but at the same time, more just means... more opportunities to craft?

Except we don't even have actual crafting still. There's item upgrade functions, and the only item that allows changing stats also has the potential to brick your item.

Literally, are these all bots or something? Their premise is entirely faulty and the logic is flimsy.
I'm sincerely confused. The loot patch, heck ANY patch hasn't dropped yet, how is anyone suddenly getting 'more' loot?

I'm not. And I'm playing RIGHT now, in between typing this post.
They're just the same bunch of clowns. If GGG had mentioned they had increased or reduced the size of characters in game they'd be complaining character are too big or too small.

It is not normal for rare monsters to drop 3 rare items + orbs. The game is starting to feel like PoE 1, it's losing its identity.
