After Titan Grotto boss game keeps crashing can't play

After I beat the Titan Grotto boss he was shooting his laser ability while falling which ignited the map in a circle of fire that never happened during the fight and got progressively bigger. I couldn't grab all of the loot so I was able to portal out while everything was burning in a very small safe space in the circle of fire still going on (the fire circle never stopped growing btw). As soon as I portaled back my game crashed and when it loads it tries to load the Titan Grotto location and keeps crashing so I can't get into to play on my character. Please help.

Luckily I noticed you can unequip bought cosmetics from other characters while not on them as I will try out a new character in the meantime. Thank you for that option.
