Pain Offering Does not target minion probably [Console on PC]

Step to reproduce, chance to produce it (1/3) ish

1. Move around. and fight some monsters.
2. Use Pain Offering while moving, without aiming with R stick.
3. More often than not Pain offering does not target a minion.

I am having the same problem (PS5)

Yea its really bad needs to be able to have settings to just target minions because when you have dance macabreeating 15% per cast and your 6th ascendancy reserving 25% hp a few misclicks is dangerous ... please fix this skill has no need to not target skellies.

What's also very annoying is, that the mana is always consumed, even if you don't hit any minion. This often results in dumping your complete mana pool, without getting the buff once.
