UI Consistency
Dear GGG,
WHY??? The PoE2 controller commands for very basic actions are different (sometimes opposite!) PoE1. For example, to "shove" an item into your stash is Square on PoE1, but Triangle on PoE2. Pick up and item in tab/inventory is Triangle in PoE1 and X in PoE2. Use a currency Orb is X in PoE1 and Square in PoE2. In PoE1 L1/R1 moves tabs and L2/R2 navigates tabs, while in PoE2 L1/R1 navigates and L2/R2 moves (the exact inverse). If you're going to keep running PoE1 with new leagues, and some players will alternate leagues, this is going to be a HORRIBLE experience. We're going to be dropping things on the floor, destroying items, moving tabs around, etc, every we switch back and forth. Why change everything? Are you planning to change the controls in PoE1 to match those in PoE2? (assuming the PoE2 controls are considered "superior" since they are newer?) If not, will you add a "PoE1 controls" option in the config of PoE2 to make it work like PoE1? The whole thing as it is set up right now is very anti-user. Please fix. And while you're at it, WHY WHY WHY does the Identify vendor switch from Square during the campaign to Triangle during the endgame? This is just in PoE2. Input consistency is VERY important to user experience. After spending 5-50 hours getting used to one configuration, you suddenly change it? Anyway, please do something about this. Thanks.
