Lost playstation characters after linking account that had steam account on email

I have been waiting for an email since Sunday because I lost my characters on my PlayStation for both PoE games. I have been waiting patiently, but the high volume of emails you are receiving may be delaying its sending. I have received two emails from Email Bot saying the email was not sent and will try again later, so I am making this thread to request help.

I connected my email address, which also had my Steam account linked, as I thought nothing bad would happen since PoE 1 does not have cross-save. After linking, I played PoE 1 and saw that all my characters were gone. The same thing happened in PoE 2—no characters. I am hoping to get the account that actually has my purchased items back and, if needed, for the Steam account to be unlinked, as it hasn't been played since 2020, and I switched to PlayStation shortly after that.
