Help for damage calculation please
Say I have a weapon with 29-39 Physical Damage and "44% increased Elemental Damage with attacks"
The skill Mace Strike has 142% Attack Damage and I have +158% increased melee/2 handed damage from passive skills tree So if we look at the 39 (from 29-39) : 39 * 1.42 (mace strike attack damage) * 2.58 (passive skill tree increased melee/2 handed damage) = 143 Main Hand Physical damage For information : the calculation with 29 brings us to 106 (so Main Hand Physical Damage = 106-143) So far so good But if I add the support gem Fire Infusion (Supported attacks gain 25% of damage as extra fire damage) to this Mace Strike, I get 31-42 Main Hand Fire damage To figure out the 42, I tried the calculation : 143 * 0.25 (from Fire Infusion 25% of damage as extra fire damage) = 35.75 and I thought I had to multiply that by 1.44 (44% increased elemental damage of the weapon) But that gives 51.48 which is not the 42 the info in the game says So how does this 42 gets calculated ? Thanks in advance for your replies ! Last bumped on Dec 11, 2024, 1:02:01 PM

Nevermind I figured it out
For anyone interested you need to add to add the increased elemental damage before applying the 25% 39 (base damage from weapon) * 1.42 (mace strike attack damage) * 3.02 (258% from passive skill tree increased melee/2 handed damage + 44% increased elemental damage from weapon) = 167 167 * 0.25 (from Fire Infusion 25% of damage) = 42 |
