Gemling spirit requirement bugged with "Adaptive Capability"?
I am using "Adaptive Capability" to satisfy skill gems with Strength.
When socketing "Cast On Ignite", it shows the error "Not Enough Spirit", although I have 95 Spirit when only 60 is required. This is without any support gems socketed. See this image for all the information: ![]() All other spells I have tried work as expected. For example, here is "Incinerate", which still shows a red Intelligence requirement but I can socket and use the spell with Strength. ![]() Steps to reproduce: 1. On Gemling Legionaire, choose the "Adaptive Capability" perk. 2. Have 60+ spare Spirit. 3. For this example, have Strength as your primary attribute. 4. Learn and socket any Elemental spell. You can socket and use the spell as expected without having the Int because its now satisfied by Str. 5. Learn and socket the Spirit gem "Cast On Ignite". You can socket the gem because its requirement is met through your Str but you can not activate it because the UI shows the error message "Not Enough Spirit". Another bug is probably that all skill gems still show the original requirement in red, even though their requirements are now met by your highest attribute. Nevermind, I am stupid and did not realize I had to socket the spell into the Spirit Gem. Had it socketed as a normal skill and thought the spirit gem would cast all spells I have normally socketed.

you cannot upgrade the gem too, forcing you to create new gem. the problem is. i got 4 socket on old one. i turn off the restriction, now i can engrave it but i can't upgrade my current gem. now i need to find new socket currency and slam it into new gem.

I've found if you move the gem from your active skills to your inventory, you're able to upgrade it as normal. Then move it back to your active skills and reapply the support gems.
