Early Ascendancy balance from SC Ladder

FYI, I've just done some a simple summary of the top 1000 SC ladder:
https://pathofexile2.com/ladder/Standard

Just over 75% of the top 1000 come from these 3 Ascendancies:
Deadeye (32%)
Infernalist (25%)
Stormweaver (19%)

Meanwhile the bottom 6 Ascendancies make up less than 7%:
Pathfinder
Blood Mage
Warbringer
Gemling Legionaire
Chayula
Chromancer

There are always going to be better & worse builds in any meta, all the more so in early access when many mechanics are not yet behaving/performing as intended.

But just some context for the very mixed reaction to the game.
Some players are having a rewarding time with builds that function well.
Others have had worse luck with builds, the loot lottery, and the trial lottery (despite refarming campaign maps and making appropriate use of vendors, 'scrapping', and crafting etc.). To survive these builds often have to excessively abuse unbalanced interactions (which will doubtless be nerfed, and with it the build's playability). The game's difficulty isn't as rewarding for builds that aren't yet functioning as intended.

Initial user experiences are wildly different and that (at least in part) accounts for much of the difference in opinion (not just that some people are being unjustifiably negative).

'Git lucky' might be better advice than 'Git gud' - as in all things it's always better to be lucky than gud. :)

By release we will likely have:
- fixes to mechanics that aren't currently working as intended
- a basic meta to guide safer league start builds
- a basic leveling meta (for smoother early progression before switching)
- a set of tools for recovering from bad RNG, and a meta for knowing how to use them

I doubt that will do anything to take the heat of the initial polarised views from the first week of the game, but food for thought nonetheless.
