Minimap progress resets

Every time I leave a map and come back the minimap progress is reset.

Each area is randomly generated and created as an 'instance' and they only last for 8-10 minutes if you aren't in them. When you return to an area you are returning to a random version of the zone so it's no longer discovered.

I'm talking about maps not campaign zones. I leave for a minute and return to a reset minimap.

Reinstalling the game fixed this issue for me.
