Mod tiers on gear are reversed in POE2?
Are the tier of mods in POE2 intentionally reversed when compared to how tiering is done in POE1, or is it a bug?
In POE1 the top tier of a modifier is always Tier 1 and the worst is always the last tier/number of this same mod. Here in POE2, the worst tier is Tier 1? ![]() ![]() Bug Report ID: #1160690218 Last edited by Silverpelt#6095 on Dec 10, 2024, 9:49:17 PM Last bumped on Dec 29, 2024, 6:11:16 AM

It's intended.

it shouldn't be intended.
it's not very readable for the ppl who don't know how many tiers each mod has. |

Not only is it intended, it's likely for the Tiered Rares system to make more sense.
A Tier 1 Rare (no special tag) rolls T1 and higher mods A Tier 2 Rare (says Tier 2) rolls T2 and higher etc... A Tier 5 Rare (again says Tier 5) Rolls Tier 5 mods and higher ![]() I would argue this change is for the better, for simplicities sake. |

" Select/hover with the mouse cursor the piece of gear you want to see the modifiers and press ALT on your keyboard to see the Tiers of the mods. |

" It is irrelevant. |
