Undo Quest Stat Reward?

I tried to drop the item given after defeating Candlemass, The Living Rite. It seems to have used the item and I actively did not want to use it. The extra 8% max life that it gives is extremely detrimental to my build.

I was wondering if I could get this reversed?

+1 to this, would really like a way to undo permanent quest rewards.
