Demon Form not using any weapons?

Don't really understand why you would want that since the weapon is quite often build defining.
For example was planning on taking the demon form asendancy, but just got a kickass staff, so really not sure anymore.
It's a bit of a shame. Also find the follow up asendancy that sets demon fire to a maximum of 10 a bit...ehh dull.

Also with this system does that also mean druids gain no bonus from weapons when shapeshifting?
