After respeccing passive tree, had selected nodes without connections

I did an extensive respec of my tree removing two long paths and replacing them with a single path through the middle that reconnected some nodes.

When I confirmed the full respec I had more nodes selected than I should have been allowed to have and some nodes that were selected without a connection to the origin.

Captured a video of the full respec and the result to help with repro steps. Happy to share, but harder to pull off PSN because the clip is longer than 3 minutes so it doesn't go to the app.

After closing the game and restarting the unconnected nodes were removed.
