Branching Bolts - Not reflected in tooltip

Hello,

I am playing an Arc build, and I picked Branching Bolts and the nodes that lead to it for a total of "100% chance for Lightning Skills to Chain an additional time."

However, the tooltip of Arc does not show an additional chain.

It is also unclear whether Chain support would double the effectiveness of the combined nodes for +2 Chains.

Any input on this?

same here no reflection in the tool tip. also no information as to whether it is affecting the damage of the arc spell or not

Tooltips in this game are so good sometimes and then other times they give you 0 information.. or even misinformation. I see on reddit people saying this node applies to spark, then other people say it doesnt.

GGG should really just have something that shows the affected skills properly, cause im running an Arc build which chains by default so branching bolts should obviously make it chain again..but in the tooltip on controller when you click more info it says "no skills affected". Which would lead you to believe that it DOESNT actually work with arc.. Makes it way more difficult then it needs to be, forcing you to leave the game and google shit to confirm, when you shouldnt have to.
