Crossbow Reloading

The reload for crossbows clearly has some technical issue, but I'd argue some design issues as well.
While I understand the design philosophy and class fantasy between switching ammo types, the actual experience feels a bit poor.

I would suggest two options:

1. Make ammo swaps instantaneous without any animation delays. Only reload when one particular type of ammo is fully spent, and reload that ammo only. This would be ideal in my opinion. Casters get to weave different spells with little effort, even less effort now with weapons swaps, while ammo swapping currently feels slow and clunky. I often end up just spamming fragmentation rounds because the time it takes to swap to permafrost rounds and building up the freeze, i do overall more dps by just spamming fragmentation.

2. The compromise solution: fully reload an ammo type when switching to it. When you have a Dyad crossbow and all your ammo has 2 bolts loaded, it feels terrible to switch to an ammo type, fire 1/2 of ammo A, then switch and fire 1/2 of ammo B, then switch back to A to fire your last shot, and you end up reloading 5 times.

And obviously, as others have mentioned, there are currently consistency issues when holding down an attack while switching ammos, sometimes the reloads take much longer, or the attack doesn't start immediately. (I honestly can't properly QA test this as it's inconsistent)

Edit: If i were to guess, when switching ammo types, the default attack ability gets swapped to the one of the new ammo. I'm assuming this is why when holding down the button while switching ammo does not cause the weapon to fire .
